The Scofflaw was a cocktail originated during Prohibition in Paris. The term Scofflaw was actually used to describe people who consumed alcohol during prohibition. This title was kind of a jab poking fun at the United States for our alcohol laws of the time.

- 1 1/2 oz Rye Whiskey
- 1 1/2 oz Dry Vermouth
- 3/4 oz Lemon Juice
- 3/4 oz Grenadine

- Add all ingredients into a shaker tin with ice.
- Shake well and strain into a cocktail glass.
- Garnish with a lemon peel.
