The Aviation cocktail was a classic that practically disappeared along with Creme de Violette after Prohibition. However with the craft cocktail craze and the revival of the Creme de Violette, we can now experience this great drink.

Ingredients

• 2 oz Gin
• 3/4 oz Lemon Juice
• 1/2 oz Maraschino Liqueur
• 3/8 oz Creme de Violette

Instructions

1. Add all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Shake well and strain into a chilled glass.
3. Garnish with a Maraschino Cherry
