Blood Orange Margarita

A blood orange is a type of orange that has certain pigments in the fruit that give it a nice dark red color. It has a slightly sweeter, less acidic taste to it than your standard navel orange. I love it with a nice Tequila.

Ingredients

• 2 oz Tequila
• 3/4 oz Triple Sec
• 1/2 oz Lime Juice
• 3/4 oz Simple Syrup
• 3/4 oz Blood Orange Juice

Course Sour Drinks Servings Cocktail Ingredients 2 oz Tequila 3/4 oz Triple Sec 1/2 oz Lime Juice 3/4 oz Simple Syrup 3/4 oz Blood Orange Juice

Instructions

1. Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Shake well and strain into a cocktail glass. You can use a salted rim glass if you desire.
3. Garnish with a nice big slice of blood orange.
