So I had some ingredients laying around from doing my Irish Coffee Recipe. This led me to think, why not gather up and make another similar, yet different enough drink while everything is already sitting right here? Wow, great idea Eric, I think I’ll go ahead and do that now.
Like I stated, the Irish Coffee is an awesome drink that is a little more tame than the original Irish Coffee recipe I made previously. This one cuts down on the amounts of Whiskey in the first one and adds in some Coffee Liqueur to take it’s place. So here’s the final listing of ingredients you’ll need to make this happen.
- 3/4 oz Irish Whiskey
- 3/4 oz Coffee Liqueur
- 3 oz Hot Strong Coffee
- Freshly Whipped Heavy Cream
See, this one is almost the same as the Irish Coffee. In fact I think it’s great for someone that doesn’t like that much Whiskey. As expected the process is virtually the same:
- Add Irish Whiskey, Coffee Liqueur, and Coffee. Leave a little room at top of glass for Whipped Cream.
- Stir this and float the whipped cream on top.
