Does any drink go better with breakfast than the Mimosa? Hmm maybe you should look into the Aperol Spritz instead, especially if you’re not into orange juice. This cocktail recipe utilizes Aperol and Prosecco to create a delightful, bubbly drink that goes well anytime of day. It could easily replace that silly Mimosa for your Sunday Brunch.
Notes on Ingredients: Aperol is a spirit that is produced using a variety of herbs to create a nice, slightly bitter, but refreshing Aperitif ( this is a before dinner drink for your information). Although Aperol and Campari are similar in taste, the Apreol is less alcoholic and also less bitter.
For the Prosecco I suggest using something that you would be ok with drinking straight. If you don’t know a good kind, it doesn’t hurt to experiment.
