This recipe is from Bar Rescue. So with many Bar Rescue drinks I like to see if they’re really any good because many of them seem like they would actually suck. This recipe took me by surprise because it called for Jose Cuervo Gold Tequila.
I decided to replace that garbage with Jose Cuervo Tradicinal. This is a Repasado Tequila that is actually made with 100% Agave unlike Cuervo Gold. Since I had a better Tequila now to go with my drink I figured it was time to put it together.
This drink ultimately tastes pretty good and the lime juice really cuts a lot of the burn from the alcohol out. What you’re left with is a cold margarita that has a light marshmallow flavor with a citrus finish on it. Overall not bad and worth the try.

- 1/4 oz Gold Tequila
- 3/4 oz Fresh Lime Juice
